June 29th

This week's activity is combined Young Women.
We will be playing DARK TAG and FLOUR TAG.
So bring your running shoes and be ready to run.
It will be fun if you wear darker clothing, but your clothes will get flour on them. So DON'T wear something that you don't want to get dirty(covered with flour).
We will meet 7:00pm at the church

June 22nd

WE ARE GOING ICE BLOCKING
We are going to Simplot Hill to go ice blocking.
It will be a lot of slippery fun.

Leaders will be picking up the girls at 6:30pm

* Don't forget to bring a towel to sit on, or else your bottom could get a little cold and wet! Also you will be walking up a big hill, so you might want to wear shoes that you can walk in (maybe some with good traction)

CAMP NIGHT

Tonight we are working on fun things for girls camp. (If you are not planning on coming to girls camp, still come! It's going to be a good time.)
Sister Dodds has a project for us. YW and leaders are welcome to bring 2-3 pieces of coordinating scrapbook paper that they'd like to use for our craft. We only need smaller pieces, so scraps are even great.  Also, any spare embellishments - flowers, etc.

The activity starts at 7:00pm at the church.
*Class Presidency Meetings: are at the church at 6:30pm (before the activity)
*Camp Meeting: at 8:30pm tonight after the activity (Parents are invited to come to ask any questions they might have)

I love to see the Temple...

This week for Personal Progress we ventured out from the church and headed to our beautiful Temple down the road! The weather was questionable (aka: cold and very windy!) but we kept warm by huddling together with blankets and singing hymns and primary songs.  Each of the girls met with their advisers and went over the Value Experiences they'd been working on and set new goals for this next month.  Two of our girls completed an entire Value and will be receiving their ribbons on Sunday!  Rachael earned her Virtue ribbon and Riley completed Choice & Accountability!  It really takes a lot of effort to complete an entire value and so we are super proud of these girls!  We're also so thrilled with how involved each of you are with your own personal growth while following the Personal Progress Program!
Sister Vogt was also able to take a few minutes with each girl and get some photos of them on the Temple Grounds. Each of you are so beautiful and I know it made our Heavenly Fathers' heart warm as He listened to us singing at his holy house.  We hope as we present each of you with a print of yourself, that it'll remind you of your goal to enter the Temple and make the sacred covenants essential in making it back to our Heavenly Fathers presence.

this activity was a lot of fun!  The only thing that could have made it better was to have all of our girls there!  We missed Avery and Cami from the Mia Maids, Aimee from the Laurels and Shayelynn, Cassie & Tori from the Beehive class.
